Assure that each resident’s assessment is updated at least once every 3 months.

Assess the resident completely in a timely manner when first admitted, and then periodically, at least every 12 months.

Allow residents to easily view the nursing home's survey results and communicate with advocate agencies.

Ensure that each resident is free from the use of physical restraints, unless needed for medical treatment.

Develop and implement policies and procedures to prevent abuse, neglect, and theft.

Protect each resident from the wrongful use of the resident's belongings or money.

Protect each resident from separation (from other residents, his/her room, or confinement to his/her room).
